is the president and founder of Arrow Roofing Co. Dan moved from Michigan's Upper Peninsula to the
Grand Rapids area in the late 1950's and began his career as a roofer, working on a crew installing ``hot tar roofs" on commercial roofing projects. Dan moved on to estimating and project management for both
commercial and residential roofing projects.
In April, 1969 Dan established Arrow Roofing Company. Dan has moved Arrow Roofing from its humble beginnings ( the first warehouse was the hayloft of a barn on
76th St ) to one of the most well known and respected companies in the construction industry in West Michigan.
Dan's impact on the roofing industry reaches far beyond the boundaries of West Michigan. Dan
has been invited to sit on contractor advisory boards by several of the major manufacturers of roofing materials. Feeling that it is important for manufacturers to have a perspective ``from the field",
Dan serves an active roll in these events.
Although Dan has delegated the responsibilties of day to day operations to his managers, estimators and operations people, he remains completely involved in every
aspect of the company. His unique leadership is reflected throughout the entire operation.
